I am sure if you take a trip down your high street you will see numerous shops shut down with “to let” signs outside. Not since the recession of the early 1990’s have we seen as many retail casualties; Reduction in overall sales / profits mirrored with over-inflated rents mean more tenants are closing their doors, independent retailers seeing the heaviest fall in sales.
